As part of the New Music Weekend held at the University of Oxford, Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, EXAUDI presented a live performance of Martyn Harry’s Our Separate Ways. The event
also featured a screening of the film version of Russia : Today and included a post-concert discussion with Martyn Harry, James Weeks, director of EXAUDI, and Tonya Wechsler, executive producer of Russia : Today. The discussion was moderated by Philip Bullock, Professor of Russian Literature and Music at the University of Oxford.

The evening was dedicated to Lev Rubinstein, whose poetry is featured in Martyn Harry’s Our Separate Ways. Earlier that day Lev Rubinstein passed away in a Moscow hospital, following injuries sustained from being hit by a car on 8 January 2024.

Eugene Birman could not attend the performance, he recorded a video message for the audience in advance.
